Usually, “a night to remember” is used as the corny tagline for your high school dance, you know, the one your mom told you to be more social at. Luckily, this night to remember garnered true emotion, a real reason to be social, and a bae’s eye to catch at our first of our concert series with Swerve. We moved our event outside to the patio to accommodate the crowd for Miami’s own Kyle Dion, Savannah Cristina and Tampa-based bae Ari Chi for another purple lit and flower crown filled night. Kamari Esson got the baes dancing early during his all R&B set with selects easily found our Cool and Collected playlist. From there, the night was started with Savannah Cristina, performing singles from her latest EP Mango Season along with a throwback from Faded EP, a crowd favorite. Ari Chi graced the stage next with her ukulele. She gave us something to sing along to from her latest album Color Fool and the strumming of her ukulele made it even better. Lastly, our headliner Kyle Dion blew us all away with new music from his upcoming album and throw backs from Painting Sounds, his last EP. If you were a real Kyle fan, you sung along. If you weren’t we still caught you dancing along to the beat of his full band. Catch us next month with more baes and R&B.
Special thanks to Swerve for the partnership along with Jack Daniels for the sponsorship
